The Associate’s Degree in Applied Science degree in Management Information Systems focuses on computer applications in a business environment with emphasis on the analysis of business information systems. This degree prepares students for the position of system analyst, an important I.T. specialist who bridges the gap between non-technicians and programmers. This degree also incorporates elements of computer web design, administration and programming, including web page development, languages such as HTML and DHTML, computer animation, and a host of other related technologies. Graduates of this program may continue their education toward a baccalaureate degree in this discipline.
